PETRUS GEO SERVICES division use conventional and autonomous geophysical and hydrographic survey technologies to provide our clients with customized solutions for environmental, geophysical and structural mapping, analysis and inspection.
Data can be acquired via a variety of sensors deployed using AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle), ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) or conventional vessel based equipment (Conventional Geophysical survey). This allows us to perform surveys in a wide range of environments, from shallow to ultra-deep water.
The success and utility of our surveys is a result of our ongoing investment in processing capacity and capability, including development of a multidisciplinary team that promotes versatility and allows the correct integration of information to meet the demands of our customers. Our team uses the latest and best software packages on the market, such as Teledyne Caris HIPS & SIPS and Base Editor, Chesapeake Sonarwiz, EIVA Navimodel as well as in-house developed proprietary software.
Petrus Geo Services Division provides services for collecting soil penetration samples with Piston Corer, among other equipment. We also provide tensile and compression soil strength tests, hardness tests, thermal conductivity tests and electrical resistivity tests.
